According to research, the moraine was formed approximately 600 to 700 million years ago. At that time, there was an ice ball event of "ice cap climate" on the earth, and a "hot chamber climate" event occurred after the ice age. Under such extremely hot and cold conditions, rare moraine on the earth was formed.

The creation of a tillite teapot involves over twenty meticulous processes, showcasing the beauty of stone carving art. It begins with experienced craftsmen carefully selecting the finest raw stones and cutting them into rough blanks. Intangible cultural heritage artisans then carve each teapot with precision, achieving flawless dimensions and infusing the piece with character. Advanced techniques ensure neatly arranged filter holes for smooth and efficient water flow. Finally, skilled artisans hand-polish every surface, inside and out, to achieve a smooth, lustrous finish that highlights the stone's natural beauty.
